Description
Programme Overview:
On 27th October 2021, the government announced a further investment of over £200 million per year over the next 3 financial years for the Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF),  following the successful roll out of the programme across England in 2021. The DfE (Department for Education) has given funds to local authorities in England to coordinate holiday activities. We aim to use this budget to fund activity clubs over the Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays.

Eligibility:
The HAF programme is free to eligible children in receipt of benefit-related free school meals only (from Reception to Year 11). We have extended our eligibility criteria in Bromley by working within the Grant Conditions to also include any children and young people within the age group above, who are residing in Bromley as a refugee.

Specification:
We welcome proposals for provision via our Expression of Interest form (https://forms.office.com/e/0XAgsQhLpC) for the Easter and Summer programmes of 2024. Please note that we are looking for specific provision that aligns with our programme specification, as outlined in our Programme Specification document, to fill the gaps in our current programme schedule.  Please ensure you have read the specification and programme requirements in full, as both documents should inform your proposals.

The deadline for this EOI submissions is Wednesday 21st February 2024 at 11:59pm, with results expected by Friday 8th March 2024.

Organisations have the choice to submit a proposal for both Easter and Summer, or one of the two holiday periods. If you wish to submit a proposal for one holiday period, we ask that you put N/A to questions relating to the other. To ensure a fair and transparent process, we have outlined a disclaimer to the EOI questions that form a part of our scoring matrix and impacts the overall score of the proposals.
