The supply & installation of off-site replication infrastructure (vSAN)

Accent successfully manages off-site back-up using a Dell EMC server array configured as a vSAN with back up and replication managed by a matched pair of ArcServe appliances. Server replication however is currently outsourced. That contract will shortly end and the decision has been taken to move server replication in-house. The current vSAN at our secondary datacentre, which is 4 years old has been assessed as unsuitable for upgrade to accommodate the additional load created by server replication and therefore we intend to purchase a new system which will support all the current and projected activities.

This opportunity has been assessed as being below the PCR2015 threshold for the supply of goods and services and as such there is no requirement to conduct a PCR2015 compliant competition.
