Audit and Inspection Recording System - Soft Market Testing

The Councils Health and Safety Team (H&ST) consists of Health & Safety Professionals delivering competent Health, Safety and Fire advisory service to all the council’s services and its operations, including county schools and academies. There are 5 main strategic sites and services cover five directorates, 25 service areas employing some 17,400 staff. Each directorate and underpinning service employs several layers of management, Level 2 Director, Level 3 Head of Service, Level 4 Strategic Manager, Level 5 Team Manager. It is important to note that there are approximately 200 local authority maintained schools which are located across the county.
The H&ST works in partnership with managers and other employees to provide proportionate, prioritised, cost effective risk based solutions so that organisational and operational risks are appropriately managed.
As such, the H&ST Team requires a proven web based system which can be used offline, suitable for local government use and the Authority’s vast geographical size, which will assist and enhance the delivery of its services and compliance monitoring, to underpinning statutory duties.
