Contract for Automatic Traffic Counts (ATC) and Parking Occupancy Surveys

<p>London Borough of Waltham Forest are looking to procure the following; Automatic Traffic Counts (ATC) brief Automatic Traffic Count surveys should collect continuous traffic volume, direction, classification and speeds over 24 hours each day. The analysis shall be provided within 14 days from the last day of the survey in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for each location in each direction with separate columns for each class and day to include the following data: &bull; Daily classified speed and count data recorded by vehicle class in fifteen minute intervals; &bull; Daily total speed and count data in fifteen minute intervals; &bull; Hourly speed and count total by class; and &bull; Full day speed and count totals by class and by movement. Parking beat (stress) surveys brief Parking beat surveys should employ the Lambeth Parking Survey Methodology. The following data shall be provided within 14 days from the last day of the survey based on agreed location, duration and interval: &bull; The day, date, and times of the survey. &bull; The number of cars parked on each road within the survey area for the specified time period should be counted, recorded, and presented in a table within a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format. &bull; A minimum of two date and time stamped photographs of the parking conditions for each street surveyed to be provided to verify results. The location of each photograph should be clearly marked. &bull; A record of any significant land use features in the vicinity that may affect parking within the survey area (eg. Schools, places of worship, shops, restaurants, train stations, hospitals etc). &bull; A record of any observations which may impede traffic or affect the vehicle parking e.g. suspended parking bays, spaces out of use because of road works or presence of skips, etc.</p>
