Community Based Wellbeing Services: Phase 2 Draft Specifications
Main contract details
Following engagement with people who access services, provider organisations, Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Commissioners, and key stakeholders in the community, Commissioners from Kent County Council have produced the service specifications for the following services:
- Universal Wellbeing Support in the Community (age 55+)
- Specialist Support in the Community for People with Dementia (all adults)
- Specialist Support in the Community for People with a Physical Disability (all adults)
These are attached to this advert. Commissioners are sharing the draft specifications with the market prior to the formal tender process so that providers have the opportunity to comment on areas which may require more in depth detail or clarity. We would like to thank in advance all those who take the time to read and comment on the document. All feedback about any of the specifications should be submitted by email to CommunityWellbeing@kent.gov.uk by 27th November 2020.
Also attached is a PowerPoint file detailing the Community Based Wellbeing service model and the Phase 2 contract geographies and predicted contract values. These details will be confirmed in the Phase 2 procurement documentation when it is released.
The procurement process to award the Phase 2 contracts is due to commence in early February 2021. The opportunity will be advertised on this website.
On the 1st December 2020 commissioners will be holding two workshops relating to Phase 2:
- Dementia Services 10:00 – 12:00
- Physical Disability Services 14:00 – 16:00
These will focus on any updates made to the specifications following their publication on the Kent Business portal in November and provide a final opportunity for feedback before the procurement process for Phase 2 commences.
Please email CommunityWellbeing@kent.gov.uk Slides and notes from the workshops will be made available on the Kent Business Portal for anyone that is unable to attend and wishes to view them.
No workshops will be held for Universal Wellbeing Support services as the specification for this service will remain the same as in Phase 1, for which a programme of consultation was undertaken in 2019/20.
Thank you to all providers who take time to read the draft specifications and provide feedback.
