Description
Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire County Councils require a removals and storage service covering internal/external office relocations, furniture removals and storage services for Council buildings in the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire areas, as well as domestic property removals and occasionally a complete 'move management' service.

This framework is for 3 years, with an option to extend for 1 year, making 4 years in total.
This framework is open to all of LGSS (and subject to wording below) including:

i.
partners and other organisations delegating services and or functions to LGSS (currently Cambridgeshire County Council, Milton Keynes Council, Northamptonshire County Council, Norwich City Authorities and Northampton Borough Council)who participate in LGSS' shared services venture;
ii.
new LGSS customers seeking to utilise LGSS frameworks on an independent third party basis.
iii.
any city, district, borough or other local authorities within the counties of any LGSS partner authorities (currentlyCambridgeshire County and Northamptonshire County)including Northamptonshire Partnership Homes;
iv.
any companies or organisations set up by participants in LGSS;
v.
any school, academy, university or other educational establishment within the counties of any LGSS partnerauthorities (currently Cambridgeshire County and Northamptonshire County); and
vi.
members of the local authorities purchasing group, Central Buying Consortium (CBC). Further information aboutCBC can be found on the website address below:

Those identified in as above who wish to contract under this contract/framework must first sign an LGSS Accessagreement (provided by LGSS Procurement team) which will include a rebate or cost model to be agreedbetween the provider and LGSS and the Authorities.

This procurement is being let in 2 lots (Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire) and Potential Providers areencouraged to bid for one or both lots; potential providers are invited to submit a response to either one or both lots, by completing the relevant online template on Due North.

The estimated annual value of each lot is a spend of £35,000 per annum for the named Authority in each case, with the potential for other bodies as outlined above to also access this framework, leading to a total potential spend across both lots of £500,000 across the full 4 years.
