Description
Swindon Borough Council invites tender returns from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of vegetation, tree and scrub clearance of embankments and bowl area of the gyratory at M4 Junction 16.

Project Description

Improvement works are due commence at Junction 16 of the M4 in late summer 2016. There is a substantial amount of site vegetation clearance required in advance of the main construction works starting on site. The purpose of these works is to remove tree, scrub and other vegetation that is currently within the specified area prior to the main contractor starting on site.

Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 24th May 2016, 12.00 GMT by electronic copy to Swindon Borough Council only (refer to the RFQ document)

If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Lucy Pike at lpike@swindon.gov.uk by 17th May 2016, 12.00 GMT.

The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
