An exciting project is in progress where the Technology Enabled Care Service (TEC) is planning to provide Lifelines to improve the customer experience. The TEC service is provided by Cambridgeshire County Council who provide standalone telecare and additional peripherals for Lifelines. Currently there are numerous Lifeline providers in the Cambridgeshire area and this necessitates a customer interacting with two agencies to achieve a comprehensive telecare solution. The aims of the project are:
-To simplify the service provision for new Lifeline Customers
-To simplify the processes for the TEC Team
-To prepare for the digital switchover and minimise risks for Customers
-To make full use of the potential of using digital technology
-To make greater use of activation histories to deliver responsive services
-To enhance preventative outcomes of TEC
The new service would cover the geographical area of Cambridgeshire; would work with all age groups; children, adults and older people and with all client groups; physical disability, mental health, learning disability, sensory impairment and multiple conditions.
