Supplier Engagement & Training Event - Adaptations Framework & Handperson Framework
Main contract details
The event will include a brief overview of the requirements of the Authority’s requirements and supplier training on how to submit bids to Harrow Council.
The event will provide suppliers with training/guidance on submitting a quality and commercial bid on the London tenders portal. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions relating to the project and tendering process.
The Home Improvement Agency (HIA) in Harrow delivers advice, support, information, advocacy and practical help with designing and delivering repairs, adaptations and small jobs around the home to around 800 vulnerable, older or disabled people every year. Services are both cost-saving and preventive, aimed at prolonging older and disabled people’s mobility, well-being, home safety, warmth and independence at home.
The scope of work within this contract falls within 2 separate lots.
The first is to deliver adaptations for disabled people across all tenures. We are looking to establish a framework of up to 20 contractors who will undertake these adaptations on a rotation basis.
The second is to undertake repairs to existing adaptations in the Council owned housing stock and provide the Handyperson service to residents across the borough.
Contractors can express an interest for either one or both lots.
Places are limited so book now to secure your place and avoid disappointment:

Please note this is not an invitation to tender but an advertisement to attend a supplier event where contractors are given the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the project and the procurement process, which is likely to commence mid/late March 2017.
