Description
Expressions of interest for the provision of the Help to Live at Home Service

The Council is seeking expressions of interest from Providers interested in delivering both short-term and longer-term care at home services to help people who want to live independently in their own homes in the north, west and east of Wiltshire. The service will look for ways to help the residents of Wiltshire live interesting, stimulating and fun lives, allowing them to gain capacity and independence.
A key principle of the service will be focusing on reducing customers’ reliance on direct services and in preventing their level of need from increasing.
It is different from traditional methods of ‘homecare’ as it requires Providers to work with Customers to deliver outcomes, with a key component being the control is given to the Customer over the service they receive, either informally through conversations on outcome delivery or more formally through Direct Payments or Individual Service Funds.

A contract of up to 4 years is being considered by the council.

Experienced and CQC registered “care at home” providers interested in delivering this service are invited to express an interest via a secure (hosted) electronic tendering system through the Pro-Contract portal, by registering with Supplying South West using the link www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk.

The procurement process will be run fully electronically. Register for free to view further details and documents on the contract opportunity.

This will be a one stage process with no pre-qualification process.
User guides are available from the links menu within the supplier’s area of the www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk portal. Suppliers are advised to make themselves familiar with the user guides’ contents prior to uploading completed Expressions of Interest and subsequent Tenders.
It is advantageous for all prospective bidders to attend an information event on Wednesday 13th April 2016, at the Council Offices, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN. (Please see attached invite within the ITT documents)
You will be required to confirm attendance of the two nominated delegates via Pro-contract through the discussions secure forum by 12.00 noon on Wednesday 13th April 2016.
