Description
The scope of this ‘Expression of Interest’ covers the following key requirements:

The installation of a Fibre Optic infrastructure to all Orbit residential and communal properties across its property portfolio in the UK geographies of the Midlands, the East and South East:
— Estates 2 085,
— Blocks 2 516,
— Domestic properties 42 831.

Potential suppliers whom have the capability to fulfil each of the below key requirements to Orbit’s entire portfolio, are invited to express their interest:
(i) Physical Fibre Optic infrastructure cabling — FTTP, including associated way leave agreements for all of Orbit’s property portfolio within a reasonable timeframe, at no cost to Orbit;
(ii) Ensure an open access network product on completion of install;
(iii)Provision of a gigabit connection at each site;
(iv)Provision of customer support service;
(v) Provider that has national coverage, that has worked in partnership or alongside a social housing provider, and recognises their changing requirements;
(vi)Orbit is particularly interested to understand if there are any timeframes to the existing funding schemes already in place.
