Description
Richmondshire District is one of the largest districts in England. It has a population of 51,400 (according to the most recent information available on the Richmondshire District Council website) and covers 509 square miles. Richmondshire is one of the most sparsely populated districts with its boundaries stretching from the Rivers Tees to Cumbria

The general description of work required from the contractor will be responsible for ensuring the Councils Commercial and Domestic Heating and Boilers are maintained in a safe and effective way with minimum disruption with annual service and safety checks carried out by appointment.

Where possible the emphasis will be placed on preventative maintenance rather than repairing breakdowns. The contractor will be expected to advise on the condition of the assets and make recommendations to ensure RDC achieves maximum value from the assets and the contract.

This tender will be awarded to supplement the Councils primary Commercial and Domestic Heating and Boiler contract and there is no guarantee of volumes or exclusivity of work.

All expressions of interest must be received by 23rd February 2018.

The final closing date for tender submissions to be received is 12 noon on the 9th March 2018.
