Main contract details
Below are examples of the type of campaigns you will be sourcing. We are asking you to submit costs based on the below information (please note these are not final briefs but for the purpose of the tender only). All of the costs should include production.
Length, type and quantity of the campaigns will vary year on year in line with budget constraints and marketing evaluations.
We are asking for a media specific knowledge and experience of the leisure and tourism sector – an understanding of the industry would ensure that the right media is sourced.
Summer/ Autumn Campaign:
•Regional radio advertising campaign (broadly the Granada TV broadcast area) to promote Southport as a short break / day trip destination for families and couples during the key weeks of the summer season.
•The campaign will run for approximately 7 weeks.
•The campaign should consist of 30 second spot.
•There will be 2 variants, one aimed at couples with a short break theme, the other aimed at families with children and will have more of a mix between the day trip and short break market.
Budget -maximum £15,000.00 for this procurement and any bid received that exceeds this amount will be removed from consideration.
Southport Air Show and British Musical Fireworks Media Partnership:
The partnership should be targeted to deliver the message of each event in the North West region The audience for each event is appended with this document.
The Media Partnership should include:
•Airtime and online promotion with giveaway
•Promotional trails 2 weeks in the lead up to each event.
•Presenter talk ups
•Digital enhanced page on website for at least 2 weeks and to include including Data
Capture & Mixed Display.
•Mixed display ads on the website to run until each event – impressions need to be estimated with submission.
•Buy tickets Iframe on website.
•Branding on site for the station at each event
Budget -maximum £14,000.00 for this procurement and any bid received that exceeds this amount will be removed from consideration.
Southport Air Show and British Musical Fireworks Radio Advertising Campaign
In addition to the above media partnership, each event also requires a advertising campaign in the Granada region.
•The advertising campaign for the Southport Air Show will run for 2 weeks.
•The campaign should consist of either a 20 second spot for the Friday Night Flying and a 20 second spot for the weekend event. OR an all encompassing advert which will be a 20 second spot closely followed by a 10 second spot – which ever meets the given budget.
Budget -maximum £12,000.00 for this procurement and any bid received that exceeds this amount will be removed from consideration.
