Description
Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) on behalf of Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Council, (hence forth referred to as D2N2), is seeking to establish a process to contract with organisations (Providers) able to provide independent Fostering and Residential Homes Placements provision, including where required out of D2N2 boundary placements (Framework). Services that will be purchased under the Framework by D2N2 will include individualised packages to meet the needs of the children and young people, and include Emergency, Planned, Short term, Long term, Permanent, Sibling, Solo, Respite, Parent and baby, and Remand Placements. Details as set out in the service specification. The Framework will remain open for new tenders for the duration of its operation, however new providers wishing to join the Framework during the Extension Period (1st February 2024 to 31st March 2026) should be aware that the Commissioner reserves the right (at its absolute discretion) not to reopen Lots 1 and 2 during the extension period. A decision has not yet been made as to when the next evaluation Round will close to new submissions, however potential bidders will be notified through the Pro Contract portal of any new deadline date for submission of new applications. Please note that the Pro Contract portal will allow the submission of a tender, but as no date has been set as of yet as to when the next set of tenders will be assessed, providers should be aware that their bid may sit within the system for a period of time.
