IT2392 - Oracle ERP Support
Main contract details
Wiltshire Council is holding an online market engagement event on Thursday 22 January 2026, 11:00–12:00, via Microsoft Teams, to inform a forthcoming procurement for Oracle ERP support services.
Suppliers wishing to attend should register by emailing joanna.denham@wiltshire.gov.uk
with the subject line “IT2392 – Oracle ERP Support” by noon on Wednesday 21st January.
This is a market engagement exercise only. The session is for information-gathering purposes, with no evaluation or scoring. Attendance will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in any future procurement.
Purpose of the event
The event will help us test and refine our draft scope and assumptions, gather feedback on the proposed operating model, discuss mobilisation and transition considerations (including service continuity), explore approaches to quarterly updates and regression testing, and capture evidence-based ideas for innovation and value.
Indicative Requirement
Wiltshire Council’s Oracle Fusion ERP underpins core corporate services across Finance, HCM, SCM, Payroll, EPM, ORC and PaaS. Post-implementation support is currently split across multiple teams and suppliers.
Through this procurement, the Council intends to move to a single, accountable managed service with clear SLAs and KPIs, ITIL-aligned governance, and a structured approach to quarterly updates and Redwood UX adoption. Key objectives include protecting critical operations (including payroll and statutory cycles), ensuring service continuity, driving continuous improvement, strengthening compliance (e.g. UK GDPR and ISO 27001-aligned practices), and building internal capability through knowledge transfer.
