Description
Swindon Borough Council (SBC) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of resurfacing and relining works to the A4259 Coate Roundabout, Swindon. The Works are to include the planing and inlaying of selected lengths of deteriorated flexible surfacing to improve the running surface, skid resistance and structural life of the carriageway. The reinstatement of road markings is also required as part of the scheme.

The scheme is to be completed as night-works (20:00 – 06:00 hrs), by 26th October 2018, under a full temporary closure of the roundabout, with associated diversion routes and traffic management arrangements. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents, which are included as attachments to this project webpage. Tender responses are required to be submitted no later than 20th September 2018, 1500 hrs GMT by e-mail to SBC only (refer to the Invitation to Tender document).

If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Lawrence Murphy at hppd@swindon.gov.uk by 14th September 2018, 1500 hrs GMT. SBC’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
