Description
<p>Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority (Also known as Kent Fire and Rescue Service) have identified a requirement for the provision of a number of cordless power tools and scene lighting. All tools are used by a diverse workforce for a wide range of uses, including gaining entry to property, the release of trapped persons involved in road traffic collisions and general use in day to day operational incidents. The items and initial quantities we require are as follows: 80 X Slotted Drive System (SDS) Drill 80 X Reciprocating Saw 40 X Impact Driver/Wrench 40 X Angle Grinder 80 X Scene Lighting The above quantities are indicative and cannot be guaranteed at this time. Our requirements for each of these five items are detailed in the attached draft Specification. We would be seeking to award a contract to one Tenderer for all requirements. This Market Engagement Questionnaire ("the Questionnaire") seeks market feedback on our proposed Specification of Requirements. Your responses, will be used by the Authority (and where relevant its advisors) for the purpose of ensuring that the technical specifications are deliverable and that the subsequent contract offering is attractive to the market and will deliver Value for Money (VfM). The publication of this Questionnaire document in no way commits the Authority to commence any subsequent procurement exercise and the Authority reserves the right not to proceed with the planned procurement process at any time. Please note, at this time we only require feed-back on the draft specifications and market questionnaire. We do not require you to complete the Specification or provide any pricing. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time and respond to the questions below by providing us with as much detail as possible by close of business Monday 9th January2023. Please kindly complete and return to the Authority via the Kent Business Portal - ProContract electronic tendering suite, a site run by ProActis.
