Description:
Shepway District Council wishes to establish a framework of pre-qualified building and construction contractors to support the Council’s regeneration and construction ambitions. The purpose of this framework is primarily to support the delivery of the Council’s 10 year HRA house building programme and the Housing and Regeneration Company to deliver new development sites, and a new housing acquisitions and rental programme. Both the Council and the Company will use this framework. In addition, it should be noted that the framework will be made available to other district councils and any arms-length companies or associated bodies with connections to these councils as set out in the OJEU notice. Council’s expressing an interest in using the various framework lots at this time are Ashford Borough Council and Canterbury City Council. The details of each Lot and the number of companies the council wishes to appoint for each lot is detailed below. Lo t 1 House building up to a estimated value of up to £1,500,000 in any one tender opportunity – up to eight companies Lo t 2 House building with an estimated value between £1,500,000 and £4,000,000 in any one tender opportunity – up to eight companies Lo t 3 Building (including commercial buildings) refurbishment and redesign work up to an estimated value of up to £500,000 in any one tender opportunity – up to eight companies Lo t 4 Building (including commercial buildings), conversion, refurbishment and redesign work between an estimated £500,000 and £1,500,000 in any one tender opportunity – up to eight companies. Lo t 5 Design and Build services with an estimated value between £1,500,000 and £4,500,000 in any one tender opportunity – up to six companies.
