CONTRACT DETAIL: Provision of Healthy Child Programme for 0-19 year olds , Wirral Borough Council. This contract will bring together services which are currently provided by a number of providers. It will include all elements of a fully integrated Healthy Child Programme for 0-19 years olds, including Health Visiting Services, Family Nurse Partnership programme, school health services, health promotion and improvement for children, young people and their families and immunisation and vaccination programmes. The successful provider will be required to provide the universal delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and in addition where additional needs and risks are identified through the programme the service will ensure evidence based interventions are available to promote equality of outcomes and improve the life chances of vulnerable children and young people. The service is provided for pregnant women, children aged 0-19 years and their families resident within the Wirral Borough Council boundary, with specific criteria as detailed for targeted elements. The successful provider must ensure equality of access for all children, young people (aged 0-19 years) and their families resident in Wirral and ensure that any inequalities in access are addressed as a priority.  The delivery of a quality Healthy Child Programme requires a high level of service integration and information sharing to ensure seamless access to services, particularly at transition points. Submissions may be disqualified if they are received after the specified closing date and time. For the avoidance of doubt, the time registered is when a tenderer presses the final “Submit” button and will be based on the Due North Server time.
