EMCCA have commissioned providers to deliver Skills Bootcamp provision across the East Midlands County Combined Authority area (EMCCA) across 6 Lots with a focus on employer driven demand within the East Midlands centred on equality, aspiration and inclusivity.
These contracts are primarily concerned with the commissioning and delivery of Skills Bootcamps as a targeted employer-led intervention to address priority skills shortages across the EMCCA region.
Skills Bootcamps are intensive flexible training courses with a minimum of 60 Guided Learning Hours, with a guaranteed job interview (in the case of a new job), which equip adults with technical skills that enable them to access in-demand jobs, apprenticeships, new opportunities and an increased level of income over time (including for the self-employed).
The contracts were awarded following a further competition via the RM6348 Adult Skills DPS operated by the Government Commercial Agency. Contracts will run for an initial term of 1 year with 2x12month optional extensions.
