Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably qualified organisations that can demonstrate the knowledge, innovation and ability to be included in a framework to deliver personal care and housing related support to adults with a learning disability and adults with mental health needs. Following on from the Department of Health’s White Paper and the Local Authority Circular “Transforming Social Care”, with it’s emphasis on establishing personal budgets and the move towards choice and control being held by service users, the Council is seeking service providers who recognise this shifting emphasis and the requirement for increased adaptability and responsiveness for services which are commissioned by and with the Council
