Provision of a School Meals Catering Service to Schools within the London Borough of Redbridge.The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge (“the Authority”) invites Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified catering companies in relation to the Contract for the Provision of School Meals Catering Service to Primary and Special Schools within the London Borough of Redbridge (“the Contract”). The Contract will commence on 1st August 2016 and, subject to satisfactory performance, operate for a period of six (6) years, up to and including 31st July 2022 (“the Contract Period”). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance of the contractor the Authority may extend the Contract Period for up to two (2) years, in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate, providing a possible total Contract Period to 31st July 2024. The Contract requires the provision of a full school meals catering service for approximately fifty (50) primary and special schools across the borough. The appointed contractor will be committed to making healthier food choices the easier option for children and young people and for increasing the uptake of school meals across the borough. The attached documentation loaded within the public area of the Portal is for information only and for compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Organisations are required to log in and express interest in order to gain access to the Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire for completion and submission via the London Tenders Portal.
