Description:
This contract covers the provision of responsive repairs and planned maintenance to communal lighting, landlord supplies and lightning protection systems to its housing stock within the geographical boundaries in the London Borough of Southwark. Each block will require a periodic installation test to be carried out at least once during the lifetime of the contracts. The contracts will include annual tests and responsive repairs to the lightning protection systems and emergency lighting. The contracts will be required to provide a 24/7 365 days response repair service. The scope of works comprises of communal lighting and electrical testing of the landlords supply to residential buildings in the London Borough of Southwark. A summary of the Works is below: I. Communal lighting responsive repairs. II. Repairs, remedial and upgrades to the landlord’s electrical supply. III. Periodic electrical testing of landlord’s electrical installation (from 1 January 2018 after the expiration of the existing Periodic Electrical Installation Testing and Remedial Works Contracts). IV. Emergency lighting tests and repairs. V. Lightning protection tests and repairs. VI. Emergency call out service.

Contract A (north) includes Walworth, Borough & Bankside, Rotherhithe and Bermondsey areas. Contract B (south) includes Camberwell, Peckham, Nunhead and Peckham Rye and Dulwich areas.
