Nottinghamshire County Council on behalf of the East Midlands and Mid Anglia Libraries Consortium (EMMA) invited suitably qualified organisations to submit tenders to join a new framework agreement for the supply of library stock materials. The East Midlands and Mid Anglia Libraries Consortium consists of. • Cambridgeshire County Council • Creative Learning Services (CLS), part of Leicestershire County Council • Derby City Council • Derbyshire County Council • Inspire; Culture, Learning and Libraries (Midlands) (known as “Inspire”) (i.e., Nottinghamshire County Council’s Library service operating as a charitable organisation) • Inspire’s Education Library Service (ELS) • Leicestershire County Council including supply to HMP Gartree. • Leicester City Council • Nottingham City Council (including supply to Nottingham Prison Service) • Peterborough City Council • Rutland County Council District Council (including supply to Rutland Prison Service). There are two lots under this framework agreement: • Lot 1. Adult fiction, non-fiction books and standing orders. • Lot 2. Children’s and young adult fiction and non-fiction books, books for education library services; including non-fiction to support Foundation, KS1 and KS2 and some pro-vision for KS3 and KS4 A single provider is to be awarded for each lot. The term of the framework agreement will be for 4 years. To allow time for the call-off contracts and order forms to be completed and approved, there will be a period of mobilisation between the Framework Agreement Commencement Date and the Service Commencement Date. The Framework Agreement will commence from the 1st of February 2024 and the Service will commence from the 1st of April 2024.

East Midlands, namely Derby City, Derbyshire, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland. Mid Anglia, namely Cambridge and Peterborough.
