Torridge District Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitable main
contractors to be included on a short select list to tender for improvements/
resurfacing works to a Town centre car park in the Torridge area.
The contract will involve the completion of resurfacing of the main area of the
car park (approx. area 2010m²); white-lining to parking bays, direction arrows
and signage; provision of additional double-headed streetlight, including
cabling works; planing of poor surface, filling of soft spots and laying of
wearing course only to overflow section of the car park (approx area 3100m²).
It is anticipated that work will be carried out during December/January 2010.
