Contract: Contract for the Provision of Physiotherapy Services

Details

Buyer:
Stockton Borough Council
Department:
- HR, LEGAL & COMMUNICATIONS
Title:
Contract for the Provision of Physiotherapy Services
Description:
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is seeking quotations for the provision of physiotherapy services.  The contract is scheduled to commence on 1 April 2016 and will be for a period of 2 years ending 31 March 2018 with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years by mutual agreement. Body2Fit have been providing physiotherapy services to the council since 2008 following successful successive quotation awards. Although service delivery was temporarily affected in April-August 2020 due to Covid-19 they have continued to work with the Council to ensure support for our employees was in place. It is unknown how long the pandemic will impact on services or businesses, but to allow recovery both internally and externally we request a variation to the term of the contract for 1 year to ensure our employees are continued to be supported and to allow for a procurement exercise to take place in 2021. Variation for 18 months will be £24,375.00 which is equivalent to 18 months cost of the current contract. There is no change to the hourly rate being charged.
