Description:
This is a Dynamic Purchasing System for the procurement of bus
transportation for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, to include Home to
School transport, public transport and transportation for social services
clients.
The DPS is a “live” list of approved operators. The DPS will be
advertised via the OJEU and YORtender system, and Transport Operators can complete a simple on-line application process using the YORtender
portal.
To apply for inclusion on the DPS, operators need to confirm that they
hold a valid Operator Licence for their business. Operators will “self-
certify” their compliance with the exclusion and selection requirements.
All operators who meet and pass the exclusion and selection criteria
will be admitted to the DPS. Successful operators will be advised that they are
on the DPS.
The Council reserves the right to purchase any service (whether similar to
the services or not) from any service provider outside of the Dynamic
Purchasing System, and accordingly admittance to the DPS does not give rise to
any exclusivity for admitted suppliers.
