This Flexible Procurement Agreement (Contract) covers the requirements of the Participating Authorities for the provision of Placements / Arrangements for independent foster care and Staying Put services: Placement Type 1: Standard Support Foster Care Placements (four age bands: 0 – 4 years, 5 – 10 years, 11 – 15 years, and 16 and 17 years) Placement Type 2:Extra Support Foster Care Placements (four age bands: 0 – 4 years, 5 – 10 years, 11 – 15 years, and 16 and 17 years) Placement Type 3: Enhanced Support Foster Care Placements (four age bands: 0 – 4 years, 5 – 10 years, 11 – 15 years, and 16 and 17 years) Placement Type 4: Parent and Baby / Child Foster Care Placements Placement Type 5: Parent and Baby / Child Assessment Foster Care Placements Arrangement Type 1: Staying Put Arrangements The Contract will open every two months to accept applications from new Providers

It is anticipated that the majority of Services awarded under this Contract will be in one of the 12 Local Authority areas in the North East of England. However there may be reasons to purchases Services from elsewhere in the wider UK.
