The One Public Estate Programme is a pioneering initiative funded by the Cabinet Office, Government Property Unit (GPU) and delivered in partnership with the Local Government Association (LGA). The programme is designed to facilitate and enable local authority partnerships to work successfully with central government and local agencies on public property and land issues through sharing and collaboration. Partnerships/Councils that are funded through the One Public Estate programme will be supported to develop and deliver property initiatives with central government and public sector partners who meet these objectives. The allocated funding will be phased upon delivery of certain outputs and outcomes throughout the lifespan of the One Public Estate programme. To maximise the opportunity of the One Public Estate programme, the Isle of Wight OPE Partnership has appointed a Programme Manager consultant to coordinate the delivery of the OPE programme and ensure timely and efficient delivery of assets for the whole duration of the programme.

To maximise the opportunity of the One Public Estate programme, the Isle of Wight OPE Partnership is seeking to appoint a Consultant to coordinate the delivery of the One Public Estate Programme and to ensure timely and efficient delivery of assets for the whole duration of the programme across the 2016/17 and 2017/18 financial years, to 31 March 2018 in its initial term. The Authority reserves the right to extend the agreement should the Authority be successful in securing additional funding under the One Public Estate Programme. This is to ensure consistency in the project support received. Any subsequent extension to the Contract will be agreed between the Customer and the Service Provider. It is likely that the Authority will seek the Service Provider to demonstrate improvements and/or price reductions before considering an extension. For any extension(s) to the Contract, discussions with the Service Provider shall be conducted sufficiently far in advance of the Contract expiry date to arrive at an agreed position.
