LGfL will be responsible for directly delivering, or ensuring the quality of its sub-contractors' services for the Pan London Co-ordinated Admissions Systems as follows: Customer Support: • Provision of a Customer Support Service • First line support to participating Local Authorities (LAs) • Provision of a secure Support Service Portal Hardware Support: • Management and maintenance for the eAdmissions portal and the Pan London Register (PLR) hardware Application Support: • First line support for the eAdmissions portal, Pan London Register (PLR) and Admissions Hub • Second line support for the above, provided through a support and maintenance contract with the software developer wavenet Hosting Services: • Installation of server operating system updates and patches • Anti-virus protection • Disaster back-up and recovery Business and Technical Process Support: • Operational support for the annual business and technical process set out in the Pan London Admissions Business User Guide • Co-ordination of two periods of mandatory file exchange testing in which all LAs are required to participate. Infrastructure Support: • Management and maintenance of the connections from the Pan London Admissions central application platform to the LGfL broadband core • Management of the file transfer infrastructure between LAs and the Pan London Servers General Services: These services are based upon the existence of formalised relationships between LGfL and the following software suppliers: - Pan London Register, eAdmissions Portal and Admissions Hub: wavenet. Local Admissions Systems: Access Group, CACI, Liquidlogic, MRI Community Software Ltd.
