Description:
OJEU Ref: 2014/S 244-429987 Gloucester City Council wish to procure an upgrade and maintenance contract for its CCTV System, including an IP network to connect camera sites, a free public WiFi service and 4G Coverage improvements via use of City Council and County Council street furniture and CCTV columns. The scope of works will include the following :- Item 1) Replacement of approximately 48 analogue cameras with High Definition IP Cameras, upgrade of CCTV Control Room equipment to view and record IP Cameras, installation of 2 new cameras and relocations of some existing cameras. This will include ongoing maintenance. Item 2) Installation of an IP Network to connect all camera locations back to the CCTV Control Room and to include the provision of Public WiFi in the City Centre. This will include ongoing maintenance. Item 3) 4G mobile phone coverage improvements by permitting a telecoms company to install 4G mobile phone equipment on CCTV Camera Columns and other City Council and County Council street furniture with details of revenue income. A single contractor will be appointed to supply all items. The use of sub-contractors and partners is permitted. Site Visits are scheduled for Monday 22nd December and Monday 5th January. Additional dates for site visits are available on application. Procurement will be via the open procedure. The closing date for Tenders to be returned has changed from the 9th February 2015 by 12 noon and is now the 23rd February 2015 by 12 noon.
